SYDNEY 43 – CHRISTOPHER DRAGON 2016 KEEL PROJECT
A Sydney 43 racing/cruising yacht, designed by Ker Design and built by Salona Shipyard. The owner of the vessel requested a series of modifications to enhance its performance. The most significant of these changes was the new keel fin, which was produced by our company.
The keel was manufactured from AISI 4340 steel, offering superior mechanical properties and a tensile strength exceeding 1100 MPa thanks to special heat treatments. The produced keel was shipped to the United States.
